Orbis Acres

Orbis Acres is where everything we are working on comes together in one area. The community gardens and greenhouses, clean and sustainable energy, sustainable economics, and community building are all part of vision for Orbis Acres. 

While our community gardens, compost facilities, and other programs are resources and assets for the communities they are established in, at Orbis Acres they are each just one piece of a complex puzzle for people to immerse themselves in. It's design is a village of sorts where people can get away to while learning new agricultural and economic approaches, meeting new people, and seeing firsthand how many of the principles of Orbis Collaborative work together.

Once completed, it will show the future possibilities of community building and sustainable practices in compact form for people to explore and experience.

As our other programs take root, Orbis Acres will become more of a reality.
