Millions of tons of food waste and other compostable material make its way to landfills every year. Not only are valuable nutrients, carbon, and nitrogen wasted, but this waste contribute significantly to greenhouse gasses.

A Boost to the Economy; a responsible economy.
Composting is a job creator. In the community, for the community.
Orbis Composting not only provides a much-needed resource by offering a composting option far cheaper and more efficient than a commercial for-profit company could, but we also do it for the benefit of the community and all of its citizens.

Our program looks to give back. When we create jobs, those jobs are livable-wage jobs for people who understand and appreciate the importance of community, our small businesses, and the people that make them up.
